Dr. Broujerdi’s trainings include Craniofacial/Pediatric Plastic Surgery at Stanford University Medical Center/Lucile Salter Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto California, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Detroit Michigan, General Surgery and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at SUNY Downstate/Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn New York.
Furthermore, he also has sub-specialized in obstructive sleep-apnea surgery. He performs the most complex surgeries including moving upper and lower jaws forward to create more airway space for air exchange during sleep.
Widely sought after for his research and expertise, Dr. Broujerdi has written many papers covering new developments in the field of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, contributed to peer-reviewed journals, and co-authored a book chapter on Maxillofacial Surgery. He has given presentations and spoken at national and international conferences.
In addition to his extensive experience in aesthetic and reconstructive surgical procedures, Dr. Broujerdi has devoted his own time and resources to medical missions in third-world countries, reconstructing pediatric patients with congenital anomalies and traumatic deformities, including cleft lip and cleft palate, and burn victims. Dr. Broujerdi's practice’s main focus is reconstructive surgery with the addition of providing aesthetic surgery services as well. He transfers his knowledge and experince in reconstructive surgery to cosmetic surgery. We use the latest innovations, technology and safest techniques. Dr. Broujerdi works very closely with numerous referring physicians, dentists and plastic surgeons in the metropolitan area. Our staff is highly trained motivated professionals, the team includes; treatment coordinator, patient care supervisor, certified plastic surgery nurse, aestheticians and practice manager.
